Law Director Kevin Butler has failed to produce any records showing any response by City Council to Surgical Development Partners' desire to come to Council and present its vision for keeping Lakewood Hospital open. Has the City and City Council completely ignored the SDP offer or is Butler withholding public records in violation of law?
I have received no response to my records request from last week:

Subject: Re: Surgical Development Partners At Council Monday?
Dear Director Butler,
Thank you for verifying that there is no proposal that will be read at Council Monday December 7, 2015.
Since there is no agreement or proposal concerning the Hospital, can we expect that we will be hearing from Surgical Development Partners (SDP) at Council Monday?
Could you kindly produce all public records pertaining correspondence by and among City officials and SDP representatives since November 30, 2015 including any invitation extended to SDP to speak at City Council.
Sincerely,
Brian J. Essi

Brian,

So Butler gave me the documents late last night. Several hours after Bruce Geislman from the tabloid took my lead from this post and asked Butler for the documents.
In other words, Butler responds to his lap dog tabloid mouthpieces before a Lakewood resident's request for records.
The Deck got it done even though JOB says tongue in cheek. "Nobody reads the Deck"
Good job Bruce....stay tuned for more of my posts.
