Stolen gas tank

Post by Jim Marquard »

I try to grill out a lot, the weather does not matter. I have lived
in my house for over 16 years. Well, I grilled out sunday during the football games,
then decided to grill out yesterday and my propane tank was missing - I can
not believe it. They had to take the cover off and move my grill from the back
of my house to get to the tank. UNBELIEVABLE!!
Called the police, they documented the incident.
I still can not believe I did not hear it.
Watch out and keep your ears open.

Thanks for the heads up Jim. Sorry to hear that. A lot of people are hurting out there despite our economy supposedly "turning around" for a couple years now. Thieves are the lowest. From now on I'll keep my grill in the garage!

Jim,
Sorry to hear what happened. Just to give everyone a heads up, there has been an enormous increase in robberies in Lakewood over the last three weeks. Homes are being broken into in the early morning hours while people are home and asleep. The thieves are stealing mainly electronics which leads me to believe that they need fast cash for drugs. I am lucky because all of us on my street have lived here for a long time and watch out for each other as best we can.
