Troubled McDonald's

Before I criticize, I will say that whenever I do go to the McDonald's on 117th St, that the people that work there are always very nice. However, I am very concerned about the amount of police calls and the amount of illegal activity that happens at this McDonald's. Since October 10th, the police have been to this establishment at least four times. Listed below are the dates of the incidents and their nature:

October 10th - fight in the lobby with one male assaulted. Police wrote suspect a ticket for assault and trespassing and sent him on his way.
October 29th - heroin overdose in the restroom
November 13th - unruly guest refusing to leave
November 15th - unruly guest refusing to leave

I know that things like this will happen from time and time and that police are there to provide service, but four calls in a little over a month seems a little excessive. Perhaps a security guard could deter some of those that want to cause trouble. I know that the October 29th incident is not the first one of people selling and using drugs at this establishment. There was also a male shooting up heroin in a booth in the restaurant back in June.

After three police calls relating to nuisance activity, an establishment is supposed to become a nuisance property and the property owner is supposed to be billed for costs incurred for police response. This is one of many properties in Lakewood that should be a nuisance, but I will not go into that in this thread. Perhaps the city should send McDonald's a letter and advise they do something to reduce the amount of police calls (like hiring their own, preferably armed security guard).

FWIW.
