My wife's new ankle (thanks to Lakewood Hospital)

Thanks to Dr. Roberts and Lakewood Hospital, my wife's severely broken ankle is new again. I just can't understand the cavalier attitude of those who feel that having an asset such as this be taken down is okay. Just wait til they have a serious, traumatic injury and time and quality of medical support is of the most importance.

While you might be able to get some screws and other supplies for the job at Lakewood Hardware, I'm not sure whether the otherwise very helpful staff there would be able to assist with the necessary assembly of the components.
One of the best aspects of Lakewood Hospital for my family has been that it does not require all the walking around that the bigger hospitals do. When your walk-ability is impaired, or requiring assistance, it is a great comfort not to have to traverse a great distance in order to get to where you are going.
Alex and his wife were so very fortunate to have our hospital available to them in their time of need.
Back to the banjo...

Alex,
Wow, what an injury! I wish a speedy and healthy recovery to your wife. Several years ago, my niece broke her wrist and they were not sure it would ever heal correctly. Lakewood Hospital sent her to see Dr. Roberts and she now has a fully functional arm and wrist. We need to keep these good physicians here in Lakewood.

Thanks for sharing that Alex. That was quite the injury, requiring surgery on both sides of her leg!

Best wishes for a speedy full recovery from all on the Deck.
It's stories like these that make people appreciate the facility right here in town. To fight to bring it down is pure folly! I wish more people would realize this.

Lest I forget, I want to give a big Shout-out to my neighbor Mark who was a tremendous help to my son and I getting my wife in her wheelchair up my steps and Joan down the block who was a veritable medical supply store and lent us everything we needed for my wife's rehab.
What a great place I moved to!

Alex...I wish your wife well in healing. I have a left over wheel chair and walker if needed as your wife heals. My son had a massive injury to his foot and now has permanent damage, but we are not using the walker or chair right now and I am putting off my knee surgery for as long as possible.

Alex, I was glad to help. There are a lot of great neighbors on Grace.
