Burgers 2 Brew

Saw that they opened and curious if anyone tried them yet.

Not sure why anyone would think Lakewood needed another place to server burgers and beer but, apparently, someone did. Wish them well but don't see how they stand out in the crowded Lakewood food scene.

I was invited to soft opening, and I never ever, ever judge a restaurant by the soft opening, or any opening. Most restaurants need a couple weeks if not months to get into stride. I think some Lakewoodites will love it.

Hottest Spot in Town Right Now - Chow Chow, but they are swamped, over an hour for food out the door to go. When they get their timing together, it will be a nice edition.

It's the year 2015, folks. Who the hell doesn't offer a veggie burger?

I just brought back a Peppered Ham & Pintos from Chow Chow. I'm going to have it in about an hour. Meanwhile, the aroma is magnificent. I'll give a review later on. Corey-- stay the hell away.

Stan - at your age the only Pinto you should be experiencing has 2 doors and four-on-the-floor.

Just knowing you were eating there made me call Mr. Whipple to see about stock options.

I have been in the food industry my entire career. It is industry standard to give a new place at least 6 months to iron out the kinks.

This one was hidden in the burger list.

Thanks, Meg ... I missed that.

Too bad I don't like spicy stuff (pepper jack cheese, sriracha.).

They'd be better off providing a faux burger that could be substituted for all the various ways they dress them.

No doubt, that is a great idea! Hopefully they'll get this message somehow and it will become one of the "kinks" they iron out down the road. :D

The mayor and the planning department sure get a lot of mileage out of that location.

They love to announce restaurant openings as "new development" in Lakewood - and the implication that they somehow played a role in it. So, that location is on what, the THIRD operator? Three openings they can take credit for!

I met some of my programmers there today for lunch. I had the "Clubbed Burger" and it was damn good. First one I had was a little dry, this one was tasty, juicy, full of flavor. Everyone else liked theirs too.

Good to see positive posts as a welcoming mat for new businesses in the city.
