You’re invited to a FREE performance of Beck Center Youth Theater’s, A LITTLE PRINCESS. Join us at 10 a.m. on Thursday, November 5 on the Mackey Main Stage.

General admission seating – no registration required. The doors open shortly after 9:30 a.m. All are welcome! This production is ideal for all ages and grades

• Adapted by June Walker Rogers
• From the story Sara Crewe by Frances Hodgson Burnett
• Directed by Jenna Messina
• Performed by 33 of Beck Center students ages 6 – 16

Sara Crewe is one of the most beloved fictional heroines and has been brought to life by June Walker Rogers in this funny, sad, and wonderfully imaginative adaptation. In this story, from the same author of The Secret Garden, audiences will identify with Sara as she begins her adventures in "Miss Minchin's Select Seminary for Young Ladies"; laugh with her as she brings happiness to others; weep with her as her fortune changes from rich girl to poor orphan; and rejoice with her when strange events bring still another reversal of her destiny!

Many kids have a day from the classroom...kick off your day with live theater!

This is a wonderful invitation. Is there no school today or something? How can you have a performance scheduled during the middle of the school day?

Elementary Schools were closed this week for PT conferences and High school was closed last week. Not sure where Middle schools fell with this (I have a kid in each of the first two categories only).
