West enders to be assessed 10% of Sewer Project

If Lakewood Hospital closes, I can only assume that there will be a tax increase. A Family Practice Residents Training Office and an urgi-care center will NOT bring in the income that 1.1 mill a year and 1,500 persons' payroll taxes do.
This reminded me of the council meeting that I recall took place last April. Council was addressing the 800,000 dollar West End Sewer project and how the West End residents would be assessed 10%. Did Summers inform any of you about this proposal? Of course not. He will lay it on you after the election! Looks like more cover up and deceit.
If Summers gets back in and the hospital closes, we will all be paying higher taxes, especially the people on the western end of Lakewood.

Does anyone know how far east this project is supposed to go?

The West End is a tavern on the west side of Lakewood, that has great burgers and food.
The WestEnd was a strip mall, that we were assured if we didn't build it Lakewood would go bankrupt.
The residents on the far west side of Lakewood use the term "Scenic Park" for where they live.
For what it is worth.

Reminds me of an old prank call we used to make in the early 80's... "hello scenic park? yes, this is the lakewood sewer department... we've had enough crap out of you!"

The City received a grant in 2013. The numbers were much higher than $800,000.

There are 26 homes on Edgewater Drive that Summers and the City are trying to charge the owners 100% of the costs for sewer connections as part of the City's deal with the US EPA.
Tom Bullyock told the homeowners that they were "lucky" the City did not charge them for repaving the street after the "City's" part of required EPA work was done.
Perhaps Bullyock views the homeowners on the "scenic" end of town as "lucky" that they are only paying 10% of the cost.

I thought you were a professional, an attorney in fact? Yet still just a juvenile playing word games. Your clients must be so proud. You crack me up.
