My reflections on the current leadership?

4 days to fix a 5 minute problem.

" I [Ryan] told him that no matter what it was not going to be fixed today by 3:00 when kids walk and it was a 5 minute fix to move the cones to the street. I said I could have it fixed in no time, his [Mayor Summers'] response "Then go do it" "

The (lack of) response Ryan and I got to this and other issues informs my opinion of the leadership we have and the leadership I want.

Jeff,

It is all about leadership and accountability.

I hope after Tuesday we get a both for or children's sake.

Thanks for bringing this up. Others here have related similar experiences.

Funny how people who have actual dealings with the mayor are not as complimentary of him as he is of himself in his self-proclamations.

Even Nickie Antonio, who worked with both Summers and his challenger, has determined that the best leader for Lakewood is Mike Skindell.

There's a time and place to seek redress for such issues. Election Day is the time and the polling station is the place (or by mail, like I did). A lot of people - too many good Lakewood taxpayers - have had similar experiences, and here we are.
