In a recent meeting at the Lakewood Public Library, one of the women connected with the movement stood up and stated proudly, "97% of Lakewood is too ignorant to understand this. Besides, I don't like the way they vote."

Really, get off you ass and vote. They have come for you, and our public assets, because they think you are too stupid too care.

Now the truth comes? All along you have said that the Mayor was saying that. It was just an unnamed person in a crowd. Wow!

That quote was attributed already to Rebecca Patton, a Cleveland Clinic employee and hospital trustee.

I don't recall Jim ever saying those were the mayor's words. However, I also believe that Ms Patton's comments are indicative of the attitude and mindset of those seeking to destroy the hospital, which include the mayor, Build Lakewood, and the LHA/CCF.

I was there, it happened.
I wish we were allowed to record the event, because you could feel the room getting uneasy as she spoke.

A whole crowd of people was stunned, as if all thinking, "Did she actually say that out loud?"

Corey that was not my quote, that was a quote from a woman who Identified herself as a supporter and member of BuildLakewood, said that at the Library.

No reason to keep mentioning her name.

I don't doubt that it happened. It was not Summers, though, or his words.

It has been conveyed for the duration since that it was Summers words, Summers beliefs and Summer ideology. That seems to be false and misleading. I would hope that a Mayor of any city would not call their residents stupid, however it has been conveyed that these were his words, beliefs and ideology. That is pretty cheap campaigning for Save Lakewood and one of the worse cases of mud slinging happening on the Observation Deck. It just discredits all the hard work people like Brian Essi have done to bring accuracy to the Save Lakewood campaign.

I know that campaigning can be dirty, but this is pathetic.

Summers backs BL--Patton is an outspoken member of BL--she spoke at the library amongst a pack of them ---I was there and heard her say her disgustingly arrogant crap demeaning the people of Lakewood.

Patton is wedded to Summers and Summers is wedded to Patton. If Summers loses, they go down together.
