I cannot wait til Tuesday, either, because we might then see the end of the cabal running this city! It will be liberating to think we will have leaders that actually want to serve Lakewood residents rather than their masters (think CCF and the Sarah Palin of Lakewood -Ed Fitzgerald.)

Like many you blend issues to make a narrative that seems silly without every addressing the facts.

Fact 1) It was an illegal Summers ad, again. I get it Team Summers is above the law. I get it.

oh jim, I am not like many. I think you know that.

illegal? a person can have any signature that they want. if they couldn't then wouldn't the LO disable that? just like having a sign on a lawn, a person could express who or what they were voting for. maybe that's why the avatar function if disabled.

no ads on the deck? jeez don't make me quote the many, many posts that are basically ads for skindell. it's a slippery line between campaign finance laws and cheerleading. does the LO know the difference?

I don't know why you are so contemptuous of the idea that people are free to state their opinions in a public forum.

Issue 64 just provides for an automatic vote if Council votes to close the Hospital. If the Council votes to close the Hospital the vote happens anyway. Issue 64 just speeds up the process.
