Checks For Ad In Fake Paper Made Out To Summers Campign

As Mayor Summers claims, he knows little about his good friend's new venture into publishing, one has to wonder who is running the Team Summers ship?
It would seem some of the checks used to purchase ads in the Lakewood Neighborhood News were made out to "Friends of Mayor Summers."
They were told the ads would be used in a legal political mailing.
Why can't they be honest with the voters just once.
Just once, say, something we can find out is true.
This is absurd.

So they paid for the Summers ad with a check to the Summers campaign?

No, wrong.
They (Not Summers) paid for their own ad to be placed in the "Community Paper" with a check made out to "Friends of Mike Summers."
"Friends of Mike Summers" are the broker for ads for the faux newspaper.

So are you saying that the Summers Campaign Manager Foran and Summers took checks written by businessmen or businesses made payable to the Summers Campaign and the businesses got an advertisement in the fake paper?
Did LHA pay Summers/Foran for their ad too or did they pay the Fitzgerald "Times" directly?
How much money did Foran and the Summers Campaign skim off the top as a "commission" before sending the money on to Ed Fitzgerald's new "investment" in the welfare of Lakewood?

It's funny, people know you can't buy the Observer.

Two City Halls have invited us to start projects in their communities, based on the fairness in the paper and the Deck.
