Solstice Steps ribbon cutting

On a cold, windy afternoon the ribbon cutting for this aesthetic addition to Lakewood Park took place. Luckily none of the ribbon cutting participants lost their balance stepping on the edge of the top step while posing for the ribbon cutting.

I happened to be up at the park today with my family when I saw the News Channel 5 truck pull up. We did not know at first that it was ribbon cutting day. Very well planned, right before the election. Make sure to watch the puff piece on channel 5. I still say, you can't cover up a mound of shit with puff!

I take it there was no music, on account of the wind? All sorts of (student) music was planned, I know that.

I see one of the masterminds behind the fake "newspaper" folly ... but where was Mike Summers' puppet master - err ... co-conspirator ... err ... Ed FitzGerald?
Did Summers forget to pick Fitz! up on the way to the ribbon cutting bash?
Both Summers and Fitz! love good photo ops ... and I'm sure that folks can still drive with a learner's permit if there is someone in the car with a "big boy" driver's license.
Never mind.
There will be another photo op tonight.
Perhaps Summers can swing by and grab Fitz! on his way to the Solstice Steps Celebration tonight?
If so, I hope that you can capture that elusive photo of Summers and Fitz! together ... both in front of the curtain.
