Yes but not with Defendant Summers.
Only with Mr. Clean.

That is great news. How would Skinfell do it? That is material that could sway a lot of people.
In the end, if it is really possible, we should never be in the situation we are now.
How could Skindell (or anyone) lead us to have both?

Look in your mailbox for something that comes from an organization called "Mike Skindell For Mayor" or something like that. I got one recently and it has his plan. It makes a lot of sense.
If you vote for the Defendant you won't get a hospital. You might get s sports feild but you'll have to play barefooted because your taxes will go up so much you won't have money to buy shoes.

Thank you. I will check past mail and keep an eye out for an upcoming ad.

Don't the public schools have sports fields?

That's one of the things that is odd about the whole Hospital issue.
The new YMCA isn't good enough. The new sports fields at the high school and at Garfield aren't good enough. A new soccer field at Madison isn't good enough. One of the ideas being floated is a soccer field at the Hospital site. You can't make this stuff up.
Of course the Mayor killed plans for a second YMCA in Lakewood and killed plans for a Golds Gym and condos at the corner of Bunts and Detroit. Instead he promised the YMCA the right to run the recreation center built on the site of the Hospital and told Golds Gym to get lost.

There is also a Planet Fitness by the Lakewood- Rocky River border on Detroit. There are two anytime Fitness gyms one on Clifton just on the other side of 117th and one at Warren Village. There are several yoga studios here in Lakewood. Metro Parks is close for walking, biking skating, and cross country skiing. You can walk, jog, bike, etc., in Lakewood Park. There is adult swimming at the high school every morning and there is also open swim sessions for the family. Look at all that is offered by Lakewood Rec, baseball, football, volleyball, golf, etc.
There is no reason what so ever for Lakewood to need a Rec Center costing the tax payers $65 a month for membership. Can the average person in Lakewood really afford this? I believe it would just become a country club for the mayor and his buddies. Of course it will create low paying, part-time jobs. Of course, I am sure it will include world of bars also!

If Summers tells me he'll put an indoor driving range and chipping/putting green where the hospital is, he has my vote. Sorry, just being honest. I'm sure the range would employ a handful of people. Maybe we could institute a special golf tax on each bucket of balls to try and make up some of the difference.
It's sort of a crime that the nearest golf course is like a 12 minute drive. What if I only have 2 hours to play 9 and little met is packed with hackers and such! It's not right that I can't get my golfing needs handled right here in the 'wood!

Todd, How about a driving range at the top of the Solstice Steps? Kill 2 birds with one stone, so to speak ...
