It appears to me that the Mayor has fulfilled his commitment to establish a mini police base/station in each Lakewood ward.
Perhaps the mayor's office can post to remind us all of each location, hours of operation, phone numbers, the names of assigned officers, the anticipated impact of this strategy, as well as ideas on how we can support the individual stations.
Thanks

Mayor Edward FitzGerald delivers on another campaign promise, as he is
cutting the ribbon on the fourth and final mini-police station in Ward 1. From
left to right; Police Chief Timothy J. Malley, Mayor Edward FitzGerald, Ward 1
Mini Station Police Officer Rick Busi, Councilman Kevin Butler, Captain Ed
Hassing, and the Ward 2 Mini Station Police Officer Angie Ortiz.

Responding with the hours etc. as requested would be great.
I live by the mini-station at the Senior Center on Madison and saw a police car sit in the street this winter for days and the snow was piled up on the car.
It made me wonder if they are really using the station or just trying to pretend someone is there.
More information on exactly how these are to be utilized would be wonderful.

An expanded police force is a good idea. A better idea is using the money spent on extra police for a program to demolish obsolete housing. The best idea is to do both.

So you want to have the extra officers making there presence known in the neighborhood by manning backhoes and smacking down vacant houses?
I am behind the idea

I have also noticed that the new min i station is dark most of the day and was wondering. Then I have seen officer Busi on bike all around the neighborhood. So maybe. just maybe Ward 2 Mini Station Police Officer Angie Ortiz is out in the neighborhood?

The Senior Center isn't in Ward 2 and yes, Officer Ortiz is out and about.
But I'm confused about something: do we have more officers today than we had last year?

The Lawther Center is in Ward 2, the boundary line runs down Woodward Ave.
