LHS Teacher Indited On 3 Counts, Rape, Kidnapping

A Lakewood High teacher was just indited:
English Teacher Brian Biermann -
1 count of Rape
1 count of sexual imposition
1 count of kidnapping

The date of the offense is listed as 01/06/2004.
It will be interesting to see how they make the case for a 5 year old offense (if there was one.)
It is also odd that when a man t is alleged to have committed such a heinous act, the investigators could not come up with other cases, that migh corroborate the original charge.
Very odd, indeed.

So it appears that this teacher is accused of having a relationship with a (now former) student who was under 18 at the time? Took him/her across state lines? And if this occurred in 2004, then the student is now over 18?
