Hope you enjoy looking at these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!

Concert photography is tough. The norm is 3 songs to take photos, with no flash. Tonight's limit...two songs, or so we were told, but that turned into one.

161 photos in one songs might be a new record for me.

enjoy!

Ivor,

Once again, you've done it.

What BB is to the blues, you are to the photography.

God, in His wisdom, gives us all different gifts. For some, the gift of misic, for others, teaching, for others, an eye for beauty. Some have many gifts, others perhaps fewer, but they all count.

For Anne Lockwood, it was a gift of frying chicken, among others. When I took Robert and Anne through the Hall on their first time through, they liked to relate how much BB enjoyed eating that chicken.

The Blues, is life... in all it's glory, drama, pain, and circumstances.

Takes a while to understand the blues.

Some never get it at all.

You do.

Ivor:

I love your reach for royalty and that you would think of us to bring all back home.

Your own artistic journey through the subject matter and lens of the LO project continues to capture the energy and majesty living people on task and right on time.

Always with admiration, I salute the artist,

Kenneth Warren

Gary, Ken;

I feel humbled to receive such high praise from men such as you. Ken, when I think of you, I think of the wonderful time I had at the Library Gala and listening to your drum beats as Gary and Bob Rice played along.

The adventurous person in me wants to put our creative and talented selves into one room with a bunch of instruments. Many don't know that I have been playing the guitar for the past 15 years of my life, and that I learn everything by ear.

I think it would be a bunch of fun. eh?

Great idea Ivor,

You do indeed play a fine guitar.

Who knows, we might even be able to find matching pastel-sequined spandex jumpsuits.

By what name would we go?

Lake and the Woodies?

The Barbarian Librarians?

We'd think of something....

Maybe Jimmy would manage us....

Gary, how about Warren Avenue? Sounds a bit sophisticated!

Kenneth and the Pinstripes, paying homage to Ken's favorite baseball team?

or how about Rice and Beans! that's catchy.

The Gold Coast Blues Band?

Jim would make a great manager.

Ivor, Gary:

I'll have plenty of time to make practice.

Funny you should mention this. I've been thinking I'd love to play with Gary again.

I was thinking about rocking gospel covers. Like Don't Wonder About Him by the Mighty Gospel Harmonizers - the second tune, 3:31 minutes into the show on this great show by Kevin Nutt - Sinner's Crossroads on WFMU.

The joyful guitar work evoked Gary's spirit and skillsets.

Now if we can find a front lady as fine as Julie Warren.

And since I'll be retired, maybe a few dancing girls for the cages.

Sharon, (I hope you are feeling better) are you back in business and ready to see if these cats can get you do the Scorpio shake on our way to the Fiery Mountain to meet Meshak, Shadrak and Abendigo?

Cheers,

Kenneth Warren

Ken.

Oh NO! Now you've REALLY gone and done it!

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego,

I remember hearing that cool song as a kid years ago

I think it took me about 3 years to get that catchy tune out of my head.

And now it's BAAAAAAAAAAACK!

But, now it's my turn.....

See whether you can get "Dry Bones" out of your head NOW!

Just try... :D

As far as band names go, what about something really progressive, and in tune with the City?

How 'bout:

Chicken and Dumpsters?

See and listen to the Delta Rhythm Boys and we won't forget Dry Bones.

We'll find ourselves in a trance, almost like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Is that what retirement is like, Gary?

I thought I was ready to pound the skins to some raucous up-tempo shouting and howling.

So how about swerving to make a punk play on our own chicken fight over local politics. Remember Eddie Munster's band.

We can be "Eddie Dumpster and the Chicken Coop Ladders."

Always great when you come out to play, Gary.

Rock on for the Lord,

Kenneth Warren

Gary:

I think I have the title for our first album: "Never Mind the Bullock: Here's Eddie Dumpster and the Chicken Coop Ladders."

Seems like Pete Seeger's Bells of Rhymny" were a take off on old "Twinkle"....If I recall...

It's been a long, long, time,

Oops, I think that one was Les and Mary's...

Seems like it was Louis Armstrong who did a great Shadrach....

Retirement yeah... :D

Six Saturdays and a Sunday. :D

A creative time indeed for those who would aspire to wisdom.
:D

I'm still wondering what I'm gonna do when I grow up...

Ohhhh darlin'.
you broke my heart,
like I broke,
the day-time curfew,
and I knew it from the start,
that them chickens,
are gonna hurt youuuu!

and the truck,
picks up that trash,
like the way,
you took my cash,
now I'm hungry,
and I'm toast,
sitting lonely
on the Golden Coast,
raising chickens,
for my stew,
but they don't love me like you do!

I can smell a single already!

Steve,

You can be the Tambourine man. Or the dancer in the cage that Ken wanted to get. It's up to you!

I'll beat a tambourine, with spoons, in a cage, while chickens dance around me.
