La Pita Express - closed?

My husband went to La Pita last night to pick up dinner for us and it was closed and dark. In fact, the Pizza Pan and Chinese take out that flank La Pita were closed and dark too! Anyone know what's going on?

Perhaps the power was out? I'm hearing reports of people being without power in Lakewood...

He has been having some problems recently and also some health issues last year.
I hope it is neither as it is still some of the best food in Lakewood for
unbelievably low prices.

I just got my hair cut across the street and the owner there said that the family is simply taking some time off. Doesn't sound like it is closing. She said the place is almost always filled with folks during lunch time.

They were open at lunch time today. It was so nice to see
the sign lit and the owner at the counter.
