The Observation Deck

Speaking of Downtown Lakewood, I don't really care about the signs. Funds should be used to clean up the area. I drive down Detroit Avenue at least twice a day. I am really getting disturbed by the dismal display of faded holiday decorations that are still barely clinging to the trees and poles. The ribbons were pretty when they went up, but now... it just looks depressing. Who put these up? And shouldn't they be responsible for their timely removal?

I remember this same discussion last year somewhere. It appears to be a trend of some sort. I can't believe people still have their Christmas lights lit, let alone still up.
