Today I received a phone call from Nathan Kelly the Planning Director of the City Of Lakewood congratulating us, on a story in Crain's Cleveland Business and our growth in a down turned economy, with papers closing. I have not seen it yet, but as Crain's reads the Deck I would like to thank them for the kind words.
Of course none of this would be possible without the residents of Lakewood stepping up and taking part in this project.
As I mentioned, as we grow we will be looking at hiring for AGS Software, and Observer, Inc.
Thanks to all.
peace

Jim,
I saw this also - congratulations!!
It was covered in Crain's email alert newsletter, which I highly recommend to anyone interested in NEO growth/sustainability. It's free to subscribe, and nearly every day I see an interesting story or two abt local businesses or government matters in their daily digest.
as you say, FWIW.

Thank you for the kind words. You and Lynn have been part since the planning stages. Who would have thought in that year that lead to the launch that we(Lakewood) would be rewriting the history of newspapers!
This is directly because of Lakewoodites that take part, and do not fear public discussion, and the questions and conversations that follow. In fact most rejoice in the dissension and growth it leads too.
