I would think "if it survives..." that most of the impact in Lakewood will come from above.

Not the first flying car, not even the most practical. The most practical flying cars came from the 50s, and cost a couple thousand dollars. When I say practical, I mean they really flew.





recently these guys have been sucking up investment capital over the past ten years, with no actual flight yet.



Of course rally drivers have been flying cars for years, and it is still the easiest way to go.



Of course these would impact Lakewood from a lower angle.

When my car stalls out, it just stops. it does not fall out of the sky. The friction between the tires and the ground also gives me a much shorter braking distance. I don't like to imagine all the vehicles around me having the braking distance of an aircraft.

Oh man I want!!!! No more dealing with the snow on the street, kids walking in front of my car because they think they own the world, and rush hour traffic. OMG sign me up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like some enterprising teenagers are hard at work developing the real deal. They're making good use of thier science skills to use in developing a rocket powered garbage can. The prototype needs some work but its a start.

Umm Charlie, while I admire their creativeness, I think that they need to perfect their methods. Using their idea right now might cause quite a bit of trash to be strewn throughout our streets.
