have any idea as to what caused it?

We didn't even see a flicker on West Clifton but I wish it would go out over the entire area so we could see the stars!

We are on Waterbury and had no power. My friend who lives over by Spin bike also had no power. I could however see the apartments on Detroit rd and Waterbury and they had power. (grumble grumble grumble)

We are on Wyandotte, near Lakewood Heights Blvd.
There was one flicker. A moment later the lights went out, accompanied by two distinct booms. The sort of noise I've heard from exploding transformers.
I figured it was a pretty big outage, and was curious how far it went.
A lot of streets along Lakewood Heights seemed to go dark, but the Christmas tree atop Lake Erie Screw stayed lit.

The the credit of the repair crews, power was back on in an hour and a half.

The worst part about the power being out is my autistic son went insane. It changed the routine and OMG I thought I was going to have to run away. I am still hearing about it today. AUGHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh yeah and I was in the middle of cooking chili, that was not fun cooking by flashlight, but I will say it was the best chili I have ever made. Hmmm, maybe that is the key to cooking.....

We’re on Robinwood behind the high school. One flicker then a min later all power was out. Thankfully, it wasn't that cold. :)

I was in the middle of burning some home movies to DVD. Had to trash that disc.

A neighbor up the street had power. He must have a generator.
