Last night I was getting settled in to a nice night next
to the fire drinking hot cocoa, and reading a novel, when

my door.



Well you always think anything could happen, but I never

Now the rest of THIS story is that Jim graciously visited for at least 10 minutes with Dad and I outside on his stone porch, while BAREFOOT!

Doing penance, I would think.

Good for the soul.

Why we were not invited in, I cannot imagine...

Seriously, we were off to a Halloween Party, and had to run.
