After returning home from Deweys pizza this afternoon, I discovered some one in my house. I chased the supsect out of my house and fell while trying to catch him. ( I picked the wrong day to wear sandals). The Lakewood Police were on the scene in under a minute. They did an excellent job and caught the suspect about an hour later. I did not get the two officers name who took the police report and processed the crime scene. But they were two of the nicest most professional people that I have ever met..
PS the Deweys pizza was good even cold

Kudos to the police....and to you!! There is no way I would have chased. I probably would have stood there in a puddle of well you can imagine what that would be.
Glad to hear that you were not hurt or attacked or anything. And that you were able to enjoy your pizza.

Stephen,
Do yourself a favor and invest in two pro-model Louisville Sluggers. Why two? Just in case you break one.

Stephen, good job. Lakewood police, good job.
Just goes to show that Lakewood's people and law enforcement will not tolerate the likes of those who will instill fear in the community.
Kudos to all!!
P.S. Stephen if you do not feel Ivor's suggestion is for you. Consider a couple of pit-bulls.

Sorry, had to do it. In all seriousnesses well placed traps should do the trick.

Great post, Stephen! All law abiding Observers should continue to stand up and support Lakewood's Finest as they protect Lakewood and its citizens - especially since we are not all trained in Russian Sambo.
