Starry Night

Thanks to Diane Helbig for her portrait of one of the Starry Night artists in the latest LO.
I'd also like to point out that my sister-in-law, Leslie Moore, has done two bowls (her "Sunflowers" interpretation is pictured in the ad) for the benefit. For those of you who bid on her paisley window at a recent benefit, you have another chance to see two beautiful examples of her work for a worthy cause.
Leslie Moore's work will also be featured at Local Girl Gallery in the coming months.
I'm not saying her work is good because I'm related - her family was pretty thrilled to watch the bidding frenzy over her window and we can't wait to see how the Starry Night auction goes. Bring your checkbooks if you attend this event - there's going to be a lot of great art for a good cause.
Artists receive nothing for their donations to Starry Night except a pat on the back for helping the hospital raise money.
Of course, I'm hoping Leslie's pieces bring in the biggest bucks!
