The Observation Deck

The Observer office got over 20 phone calls asking if the Lakewood Fireworks had been canceled. We called City Hall and asked and they said no, but they had also received calls all day.

It seems that many read the listing in the Plain Dealer wrong.

They will be held Friday at dusk, with Saturday at Dusk being the rain date.

See you in the parade, and at the fireworks.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhh I'm extremely excited for this year's parade and fireworks. It seems like the 4th of July grows every year. I used to hate the holiday but now I look forward to it!

There's something about having a jam packed city and everyone is out and about, and being able to ride your bike around all day and see people enjoying their day off freely.

The fireworks and parade were definitley packed, just another reason I am going to miss this city.
