Library Rededication

What a marvelous day for Lakewood, for Ken Warren, and the library trustees and staff (to name a few).
The youngster turning the giant key in the magic lock to open the doors struck a wonderful note. The key metaphor was perfect.
This place is everything we hoped for: warm, welcoming, and wonderful.
Thank goodness no children were hurt during my Librainium visit. I had a very enjoyable time playing and will probably be back in the boat before too long. I didn't get my hands on everything.
None of the pictures do it justice.
I heard someone ask, when the plans were first unveiled, "Why do we need a palace?"
The answer is, "Because we deserve it."
