Dear Neighbors,

This is a friendly reminder that both of the Community Supported Agriculture programs offered through the LEAF community are still taking new shareholders.

Covered Bridge Gardens CSA registration does have a deadline. This farm needs to have a handle on how many shareholders they will have for Lakewood by May 31st. Registration forms are available at:

For any of you who are not familiar with this program, it is WONDERFUL! Mich and Kay Prochko will greet you each week with a delicious assortment fresh from their farm. They provide a weekly newsletter with information and recipes.

City Fresh also still has space for the Lakewood Fresh Stop.
registration for this program is available at:

You can always check out www.leafcommunity.org for more information about thes programs. Or you can PM me.

Looking forward to another year of fresh produce in Lakewood :)

What is the ballpark start date for the fresh stop?

On a related note, does anyone know when the farmers' market usually begins?

Reminder,

Those interested in volunteering with LEAF this summer are invited to a meeting tonight at the Lakewood Library, main branch auditorium at 6pm.

You will learn about various LEAF related volunteer opportunities and be able to ask questions.

Thanks ~Annie
