Hot RUMOR from more than one source is that Unions representing City Services are looking at planning a strike on Monday. In protest to job cuts recently made. Yet from a second source comes talk that this is merely the first round of cuts and more could be possible.

This is only a rumor but messages came in from more than one unconnected source.

A this point nothing more that a very hot rumor.

Further discussion with one of the union stewards has indicated that there is no plan to call an emergency meeting at this time. This applies to laborer and administrative - police and fire are not in the same union as service workers.

Wow you are on top of this, I wish you had spoken with the people I had. They even had a time... Was not fire or police, was just city services.
