Hear it here first.

Just received word from inside sources at Rocky River that Coach Lewis announced his resignation as Social Studies teacher and coach at RRHS.

The LHS Alumni and classmate of a few of Lakewood's football coaches is rumored to be taking the head coaching position at Lakewood High School. People have spotted him around campus and oddly enough, a Social Studies teaching position popped up on the website right in time as coaching interviews were wrapped up.

What does this mean for Lakewood?

Rocky River has been one of the most dominant teams in the state of Ohio under the leadership of Coach Lewis and his coaching staff.

They went 11-1 last year, with the one loss coming (ironically) on Lakewood's turf against Lake Catholic in a playoff game.

The announcement hasn't been officially made by the LHS Athletic Department, but it was scheduled to be made sometime this week, probably on schedule with the Lewis making his resignation public at RRHS.

HEAR IT HERE FIRST!! no one else knows about this!

Looks like karma at work.

They mess with our dog park, so we take their football coach!
