Lakewood Baseball releases '08 spring schedule

Dear Observers,
I hope by now you realize one of my big passions is Lakewood Ranger Baseball. In general, baseball is my favorite sport to photograph. But my past two years of involvement have taught me that some pretty amazing people, parents and kids are part of that program.
I'll be writing an article on the new head coach (he's been around the program though) Coach Chris Lamphear in the next month or so. He knows the game, he knows how to run the program, and he knows how to coach well. So look for that around mid to late February.
The past two years, the diamond, both figuratively and literally, at LHS has been my refuge every spring. If you like the game of baseball, and you want to see clean, no corporate sponsors, fun baseball I would like to encourage you to join me at one of the many home games this Spring. Lakewood High has one of the best diamonds/fields in the state of Ohio, and the turf is where the action is at.
The Al Gruss/Tony DiBiasio tournament you'll have to pay admission for entry. It consists of the following teams: North Olmsted, St.Ed, Holy Name and Lakewood. It's always great. Friday evening two games are played, and the following day is a full day of baseball starting in the morning.
All other regular season games are free, and are kid friendly of course!
Here is the Spring 2008 schedule:
Mon 3/24 Scrimmage vs Westlake @ 4pm

In conclusion, I hope to see some fellow deck posters at at least one game this spring. It's great fun for the family and there's never a dull moment. Especially when the weather warms up and the sun is shining, bring a chair and read while enjoying the outside air.
Feel free to PM me with any questions that you might have!
