Thanks to the Observer Deck for providing a link to our siteâ€â€￾ which is
www.lakewoodcares.com

Who We Are
The LakewoodCares discussion board allows access to a wide
range of information (both locally generated and on the Internet) on
community service, services, health, civic organizations, clubs and many
other topics. The purpose of our Online Resource Network is to provide
access to information of interest to residents of Lakewood. LakewoodCares
will work to promote the exchange of information and collaboration among local community service organizations, schools, government agencies, religious institutions and much more.

What we Need
Help us build our Online Resource Network. If you are a member of one of
the non-profits, clubs or civic organizations listed, please contact me with additional info that I can post about your group, or feel free in adding upcoming events and notices so that the community what your group is planning.

Help us NOWâ€â€￾I am working on adding a list of Emergency Services that are available in our Cityâ€â€￾things like meals, shelter, etc. If you have ideas, please email them to me as I would like to consolidate them into one posting. My email address is:

rkoenigsmark@yahoo.com

And Last but not Least…please register….my goals is to have 200 new registered users by February 14, 2008â€â€￾Valentines Day---because we know Lakewood has Heartâ€â€￾and we aren’t afraid to show everyone we CARE!

Thank you for taking on this project. It is the most important part of the Lakewood Observer, and comes from the suggestions of many that thought we needed a single place for all charities, churches, non-profits etc.

The fact that these groups can also get FREE websites, discussion boards, and even funding through Lakewood Cares, will make it a valuable connection for all.

peace
