The Observation Deck

I would like to invite everyone to the swearing-in ceremony for myself and the newly elected members of City Council. It will take place this Saturday, January 5th, at 11:00 a.m. at the Masonic Temple, 15300 Detroit Avenue.

U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown will be administering the oaths of office. The Lakewood Choral Choir will also be performing.

Mike Summers has had a long standing commitment with his company for Saturday, January 5th, and will be unable to attend the City Council swearing-in ceremony at the Masonic Temple tomorrow.

This conflict was communicated sometime ago to City Hall, but in the course of many transitions the press release indicating Mike's participation on Saturday was in error. Mike shares his thanks with his many supporters and is anxious to begin working on the behalf of Lakewood.
