I see we have a new store, the Europe Mart next to the movie theater. Anyone know anything about it? Could be cool if it sells all sorts of imported food and goodies!

It's exactly that, c. dawson.

I stopped in one day while walking up to the UDF when I saw people inside. The folks told me the were going to sell imported cheeses, wines, and other specialty foods. The owner-operators live in town. I wish them well. The UDF is great, but I'd love to be able to walk to more interesting fare.

Chris and I had lunch from there today, EXCELLENT ! I hope that things continue to progress for them and they outgrow the space.

Mr. Palmer:

Would you be so kind as to elaborate a little on the kind of food served for lunch?

For now the menu is sandwiches and salads very basic but thats what I like. Chris and I both orderd the same sandwich, buffalo style turkey breast, pepperjack cheese, roasted red peppers, lettuce, tomato and dressing. Mine was served on warmed ciabatta bread Chris' was on a warmed wrap, crisp crunchy dill pickle with chips on the side. We broused while the sandwiches were prepared and found some items that reminded us of other items gathered up our goodies paid for everything rushed right back to work and devoured our food. Having very recent memory of being in their shoes (having big ideas and small capitol) I'm sure glad to be able to support them and contribute to their success.
