I've had enough of the thread with the "bad" four letter word.
I appreciate that people discuss, share information and communicate on the Deck.
I especially appreciate when my Lakewood neighbors share useful information or positive thoughts and suggestions, although we all benefit when people point out things that can be done better.
I hope we post here because we care about each other and our city.
Thank you for your time and your thoughts. I hope we all find more ways to work together in 2008.
Love on the Observation Deck

Thank you for posting this topic.
I'll post here or in topics like "I Stumbled" which I believe are positive and spread the word about what is good about Lakewood.
I know we face challenges but focusing on what is right just seems to be a better way to find common ground and build a collaborative effort to overcome the problems with which we are confronted.
As Steve Davis' signature reminds us with each of his salient posts, "it ain't rocket science."
Let's make an effort to appreciate each other and some of the great things Lakewood has to offer.

The "I Stumbled" thread has lifted my heart. I especially like the linked photos of people who are obviously having a lot of fun.
I'm not a Pollyanna, but dwelling on negatives and personal issues isn't going to get us anywhere we want to go.
Positive things from the library, MAMA, from Mainstreet, BikeLakewood, Leaf, our neighbors, etc. make me hungry for more.
