Good lord, enough already. Give it a rest.
Yeah, he was probably distracted running for mayor. Wouldn't you be??
The article says he has until November 30th to pay. Having two family members who are attorneys and having friends who are, I know that it is fairly common for lawyers to wait until the last minute to do these types of things. And if he wants his license to lapse, who cares? Last time I checked, you didnt need to be a practicing/licensed attorney to be mayor.
Signed,
Someone who voted for the other (losing) party but is tired of these types of posts.

The fact that there are 54,000 lawyers in Ohio is what has me hiding under the bed.

No kidding.
In contrast, there are about 22000 active patient care physicians in the state.
There is one lawyer for every 210 persons in the state. A doctor for every 500.

Grace-
I sent my paperwork in and my fee. Thanks for the kind concern, and yes, I was distracted.
it is ok

it is ok. You can put off seeing a doctor much more easily than you can put off seeing a lawyer. It is Economics. Or something.

So, now that the election is over, we're going to move into Lawyer Bashing?

Jeff,
Lawyer Bashing is far too easy, besides I have heard that lawyers don't feel pain, don't have a conscience, and wouldn't understand the text of the bashing without having their legal assistant reading into it for them anyway.
~note to computer tech, my CONTROL + ALT + ENDRESS button seems to be sticking, any theories?

I dont understand your comment. Did anyone stop lawyer-bahing DURING the election?

I stopped lawyer bashing as soon as one helped me with an ugly problem.
Really, when they can cook, write up contracts and send letters for you they're not bad.
Not to mention when they cheer for your Alma Mater's soccer team..

Corey, As having been a Legal Assistant for a lot of years working with some of the smartest men and women law schools have produced, your last statement is sometimes so true, its scary. Of course it is the most fun when they are the young lawyers then we just toy with them like a cat with string!!!
