How about a lighter subject? I just picked up the Sun Post from the front lawn (is it too much to ask to hit the porch??) and read a great article on Michele Sikes. The statistic that caught my attention was that LHS has developed three Rhodes Scholars. Wonder how this rates among all US high schools?

Interesting achievement. Something to be proud of. I wonder where this plays into the NCLB rankings?

Last Friday was Michele Sikes Day. I understand there were a number of related activities at the HS and so on.
I guess she was at Malley's scooping ice cream too. I'm surprised it wasn't announced here at LO. Maybe it was and I missed it(?).
Pretty amazing young lady.
