cool shots, David!
I never even heard of JPG magazine ... but now I'm signed up! It'll be a long time before I can do shots like you, though.

JPG is a great mag. Rami Daud was featured in Issue 11:

Make sure to check out Ivor & Rhonda's photos as well; I'm sure they appreciate your votes!

Maybe, with enough votes, all 3 of us will be in the next issue...now that's REALLY building the Lakewood brand.

David:
I am really delighted with the success you are having with work that shows your range of distinctive talent with Lakewood subject matter.
Saint Andrew has been a favorite ever since I saw him a few years back with Jim O'Bryan and Dan Slife at Bella Dubby.
I want to say that your cogent verbal description/caption in combination with the photo is hitting full stride.
I am noticing your ability to join the image and solid word craft. This makes for sense of keen, distinctive intelligence that registers on two planes.
I'd love to see you assemble photo/essays on cultural and geographical subjects that turn you on. Great photos and great writing.
I am really proud and stimulated to share your artistic company in this community and LO project.

Thank you Ken for your kind words. However, I can't celebrate yet. With enough votes, my photo(s) will be brought to the attention of JPG's editors, who make the final decision as to what is printed in the magazine and what isn't.
The beauty of JPG is that every submission to the magazine, both photographs and stories, are voted on by peers.
If it does end up getting printed, it will bring Lakewood to the attention of JPG's readers around the world, both in the magazine and online.
