I was stuck on 77 south for bit this morning.. I have never seen the highway flooded like that before.. They stopped traffic for about 1/2 hour on 77 South by the Grant exit. 90 was also a bit of a nightmare this morning..

We were on 90 going to Scranton Road just before 9:30 this morning. The rain was pouring and the highway was beginning to flood. I couldn't see well enough to see how deep the water was, not that it mattered. I was surprised because people were trying to drive safely.

I got off the highway at 41st because it wasn't getting better. Storm sewers were overwhelmed all the way to our destination, which was flooded.

The streets were better coming home, but we were amazed when we saw the cars stuck under the 117th st tracks. One work truck had water up to the window.

I saw a nice man walk over in the rain this morning and unstop a storm sewer in front of Huntington and Caribou. Don't know who he was - but he was getting soaked, just helping our city. No city truck, no official clothes. Just a nice guy helping out.

so is there any flooding or problems in Lakewood besides the library closing?

I'm sure there are. CVS by the library is experiencing problems. I don't have a list (we were actually away from the scanner ) but with that volume of water in that short a period of time, there is going to be flooding.

My mom's basement flooded.

The Lakewood Historical Society's Oldest Stone House basement flooded. Everything Ok...just a mess.

I get to them asap - and you're not the only one. What has been new is that I'm being better about making it plain that I have done that, since it does represent the editing of posts made by others.

The other option is linking words between tags. So for example: Search at [url= ... com]Google

Although my suggestion would be to change the link color on the forum so it's not so close to the text color.
