Summer job's for kids in Lakewood - where to look?

Hi.
I'm just kind of wondering out loud here but where is a good place for a couple of 15 year olds (1 boy, 1 girl both soon 16) to find part time work in Lakewood. Someplace other than fast food joints that stay open late. A few hours a day kinda thing.
When I was a kid I worked a summer or two (thanks to the late Mr. Mecredy) at the concession stand that used to be at Lakewood Park. Too bad that's gone.
I suppose every parent that reads LO is wondering the same thing...
Just looking for some ideas.
Thanks,
Joe

Actually there's 2 concession stands at Lakewood Park. Run through the Rec. Dept. I would imagine that the employment for those has been filled a while ago.
But, to your point. In the same boat. My 16 year old is finding that a lot of people want 18 year olds. Really not much there for kids. Target has a help wanted, Walgreens (Lakewood...apply at store in River) Dave's cosmic subs has a sign out.

My 16 yo just got a job at Mitchell's in RR but some nights works till 11!!! We got a flyer in the mail looking for teens to paint with a company for $9 hour if you want the information, but probably will be outside of Lakewood too. I am sometimes looking for a good sitter occasionally if anyone recommends one!!!

They can either teach swimming lessons or (since they're 15) they're eligible to be lifeguards once they go through the training.
I worked for the pools for almost 7 years as a lifeguard, swim instructor, and pool director and I loved it.

When I was younger I worked over the summer teaching safety town. That was with the rec department. When I was 16 I worked at Marc's. Right here in Lakewood. Started over the summer then worked there for 7 years. The hours were not to bad. Just a thought.

We are always looking for qualified and trustworthy babysitters. Joe, I'd definitely be interested in talking with your daughter. If anyone else knows of anyone, please let me know!

I know the Lakewood Sun has routes and is looking for carriers. It's not much, I know, but until a kid is old enough to get a worker's permit, it's an easy start.
Also, I don't know if it's too late for this summer, but Westwood Country Club has caddies, and there are worse ways to spend a summer than hanging around a glof course.
