5K at Lakewood Park on Sunday
There is a 5K run/walk at Lakewood Park on Sunday morning (5/6). I will be participating, with a friend from work, a fellow Lakewoodite. Any other Observers going to join us?

I probably will as well. My son usually runs it.David Lay wrote:I'll probably be there shooting photos...
I'll be the grumpy looking dude with a baseball cap that says "WoodCentral" and toting one of my Nikons with a 70-300G IF-ED AF-S VR lens.
Say hi if you see me. Or, throw things at me or whatever...

Is this the "Ambulance Chase" or whatever it's called? Is there a website?Esther Hazlett wrote:There is a 5K run/walk at Lakewood Park on Sunday morning (5/6). I will be participating, with a friend from work, a fellow Lakewoodite. Any other Observers going to join us?

Yes, the Ambulance Chase. Proceeds benefit the Lakewood Hospital Foundation. Click here for information.
In addition to the 5K there is also a 1.5 mile walk.
My 12-year-old runs these but our schedule may not permit this time.[/u]

A very fast person? Sorry. No, I don't know his name (nor the womens overall winner) but I'm trying to find out. Hermes has not yet posted the results which is odd for Hermes. They usually do this fast.Jim O'Bryan wrote:Do we know who won?
