I have yet to really get through the whole paper, but from what I have seen, this is one of my favorite issues.
Ivor's Obama piece nearly brought tears to my eyes because I could feel his excitement through his words.
Dave Skolyak's piece was very touching.
I looked at all of the activities; so many things going on, so much to choose from and so little time.
I have a huge appreciation for fish frys, so Brett's article was fun, Justine Cooper's latest discovery sounded great, and Chef Geoff brings it home, as usual.
Paula Reed is sending us on a treasure hunt (that I mentioned in another thread) with our past.
All of the Observer's contributers have been trying something new and sharing themselves with Lakewood and the world. There's just so much talent in these pages (and behind these pages with editors and production).
Thank you to everyone involved, to all who participate. What an amazing community we have in and through these pages.

Do we still have access to the PDFs of the Observer?
The last "Latest Issue (PDF)" seems to be Observer Vol. 03 Issue 03.PDF.
Thanks for all you do.

Ad sales thanks to Justine Cooper, Rick Ferrill and Bob Ignizio.
Special thanks as always to Heidi Hilty and her editing staff, and Brian Simko.
This one was very special for me.
I never touched this edition.
My wife and I are both very thankful to everyone that has participated.
Wait till you see what we are doing next.
If yo have ideas drop them into one of the e-suggestion boxes.
We do listen, and we try to work as many in with each upgrade.
Thanks again.
peace

I have to admit....when we first started I feared that we would run out of stories....but instead, they keep getting better.
Special thanks to our sports and pet contributors....we had one of our best issues ever.

Uh Oh!
Did my eyes deceive me or did Ivor really call Obama "articulate" on page one!?!
Here come the lawsuits!
Jim, does the paper have a slush fund set aside for sensitivity training or do we need to all pitch in for the young lad?

Bret
I figure the sensitivity session would be you and I locked in a room with Ivor.
Then he could teach us about sensitivity for others.

I suppose it is condescending to point out that men are occasionally capable of being articulate.

Everything I know about sensitivity I learned from watching Archie Bunker.

How 'bout this----
Ivor has proven his articulateness by observing it in another without any hidden meanings on his part in that he has shown that this is all brand new to him!
He has shown a genuine innnocence and freshness that shouldn't be tarnished by efforts yank this thread off course!
(guys can article as good as broads anyway)

That may be Stan; however, can they elucidate as well?
