Federal Offices Closed...?

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

All night and all morning CNN has announced all Federal Office Buildings are closed in the snow belt area.

The question is what does that mean?

Call before you head in, make sure.

I had two friends stuck in the snow late last night.

It is not fun.

I haven't gotten a call yet, so it looks like I'm making the trek downtown...

Conditions like these make me thankful I use RTA. 8)

Well, I just got the call that we're not going in until 12 at the earliest, if at all...so I haven't gone outside yet.

The ride last night was fine...I took the Rapid & the 25W, and was home in a half hour!

oh ok I thought you already went downtown. RTA wasn't that bad for me yesterday, either, considering the conditions.

They just said on WTAM that RTA is experiencing 1-2 hour delays. Does this mean a bus will be coming every 5 minutes at 10am, because it will be the rush hour buses from 8am or 9am that are 1-2 hours late? :)

From past experience, the trains are the most resilient to the bad weather. Just don't turn off their electricity!
