Don't know if anyone saw this in last wednesday's PD:

Brewer Garin Wright didn't disappear in 2006. He was just busy.

Chances are the talented young brewer will be a lot more visible in 2007.

Wright, who used to operate the Brew Keeper in Bedford Heights, will soon open a West Side brewery.

Wright will also open a pub in Lakewood that will feature his trademark Buckeye Brewing Co. brews as well as hard-to-find craft beers, cask-conditioned ales and a food menu.

"It's just been one of those years, but a lot of hard work from my dad and others involved in the expansion are making this a reality," he said. "Soon, we'll be able to push the envelope like we never have before. Things are going to get crazy in this beer town!"

In Bedford Heights, Wright had difficulty keeping up with the demand for his popular beer, which has a loyal following across the state. He apparently hasn't lost his touch: Last month, his Sasquatch Pale Ale took first place and his Mammoth Stout took second place in the 2006 Great International Beer Competition in Providence, R.I.

Sounds good! Hope the food is good as his beer, and he's successful in the 'Wood!
