The Lakewood Observer's Final Issue of 2006, has started a rush to get everything new, updated and improved in 2007 for an even better year.

While hundreds told us it would not last a year 2007, sees the Lakewood Observer project start off with better funding, more people involved at every level and a new groundswell of people who want to help in many ways.

Over the short break before Volume 3 Issue 1 set to come out January 9, 2007. We will be hard at work making improvements, and adding more items that people have asked for in our suggestion box, at meetings and on the streets. Some from what I have seen from the beta testing, should be quite nice.

Everyone involved especially the advisory board, writers, columnists, photographers, production, and delivery are dedicated to what has become the high bar for civic discourse and discussion. We are all open to new ideas and ways we can server the residents, businesses and people that work in Lakewood better. Please keep the suggestions coming in, they are not ignored.

To everyone. Thanks for the support and participation in year one and two of this incredible project. With all of you it would be nothing. Have a great holiday season.

Peace to all.

I am just lucky to live in a city with people as fine as you all.

I know you mean every word you say above and that's why I think you should run for Mayor.

Heidi

While I appreciate the very kind words. The last thing this city needs is Jim O'Bryan for mayor or council. You would be far better than I.

But what we do need, is to take this city to the next level, and all of that and more has been designed into the Lakewood Observer 2007.

Thanks again.

peace

I'm thinking a new position should be created: Minister of Creative Thinkology.

Or "Agitator in Residence."

But I just don't see JOB being happy with numbers and boring meetings, etc. He'd make a great Schmoozmeister General...

If I ever saw a scenerio for a City Manager this is it. Jim would be a great Mayor - because he is creative and he has energy to burn. But a city manager would be good to handle all the boring details for him.

Lynn

Please.

Can't balance a check book and would much rather work than schmooze.
