I doubt that any announcement about where the Beck will be going would be without the "key players". Given that the announcement is being delivered in Lakewood indicates to me that Mr. Bob Stark will not be in attendance. I doubt Mr. Stark would be part of a Lakewood based press conference indicating that the Beck was packing it's bags and heading west. Even Art Modell had the common sense to announce the Browns move from Cleveland ...in Baltimore. That means Lakewood has retained the Beck Center. All eyes should be peeled for Mayor Tom George. If you see him there, Lakewood has prevailed.
However, the clincher for me was the inclusion of refreshments. The Lakewood DNA is about connecting and networking and refreshments help make that happen.

There is a new Art Academy starting that ties LHS and the Beck center together next year.....
students have a choice of either attending classes at the Beck for credits or at the school...
don't know the details yet, that's all I know. My art teachers were going crazy about it because not only are their funds being cut every year, now they can lose their jobs as well.
There was a meeting about it today after school, I'll go into detail if my teachers explain it to me tomorrow.
