To mark the first anniversary of the US Supreme Court decision in favor of eminent domain abuse, there will be a rally in the flats, the scene of the latest high profile abuses. The rally will be at the corner of Old River Road and Main Ave on the East bank of the Cleveland flats on this Friday evening, 6/23/06, at 7:00 PM

Hopefully this is early enough that parking won't be a problem in the area. As always, we can car pool. Let Jason know if you want/ need a ride. We apologize for the late notice, but this is a bit impromptu.

Please come on down to show your support for the home and business owners unjustly dragged into court in eminent domain actions designed to take their lawful private property and transfer it to private developers. Some signs, posters, and stickers will be available if you no longer have stuff, or you can exercise your creative urges and make a new sign for the occasion. Express yourself!

This can be a nice opportunity to catch up with each other, do some good, meet some new people (hopefully) and have some fun. Remember how much fun these things are? This evenings weather is supposed to be nice.
