You should have received your second half property tax bill by now. Taxes are due by 7/13.

Why do I post this happy note?

Because the county put one of my Lakewood neighbor's tax statement in my envelope. I called the county to tell them about the mix-up and they promised to send a new bill to the homeowners.

But if you haven't seen your bill, call the county!

Who knows who got your bill!?!

While we are on the topic of taxes.
Evidently ALL cuyahoga commercial property owners will incure a large fee because of the termination of the HB920credit. This stems from the demolition of Westgate mall and the legislature in Columbus ok'd this to make up for the missing tax revenue. I am not sure if I have all the details correct but I do know the large fee is on my current tax bill.
I will investigate more and post more info. In the meantime if anyone has info on this I could use it. Thanks
