The Ohio Department of Transportation is planning a resurfacing of Clifton Boulevard within the next few years. The cities of Lakewood and Cleveland are planning possible design improvements to the boulevard. As part of this process, the respective cities will engage the community and solicit comment on any proposed improvements.

An essential component of the study is community participation. The fourth and final community meeting is scheduled on Wednesday, June 7th at 7:00 p.m. at Taft Elementary School located at 13701 Lake Avenue, Lakewood, OH.

At that time, representatives from the Kent State Urban Design Center will present final recommendations for enhancements to the boulevard. There will be time allowed to take comments and discussion on these proposed improvements to Clifton Boulevard.

We hope to see you there Jim!

Does anyone know what happened at the meeting?

I hope they don't try to turn it into a pedestrian mall or another Euclid Corridor-like disaster.

Vote NO on the Lakewood Levy (yes I know they finally turned on the science center windmill)
