LHS Marching Band in the News

The PD high school section today had a year-ending compilation of "top ten" lists relating to the past year in high school sports.
The Lakewood High Marching Band was ranked third best by the PD writers. The school was also recognized for having the second best athletic facilities in the Greater Cleveland area.
However, there were many mistakes on the lists.
First, Lakewood Stadium did not make the list of 10 best sporting venues.
Second, Shaw's marching band should have been very high on the list.
However, they did get a couple of things right:
Glenville Tarblooders for best nickname
Eds and Ignatius for biggest rivalry (since Canton is not considered part of their coverage area)
If there were a "best photographer" category, our very own Ivor would have run away with it!
