Tribe Time --Win a prize!

10 minutes to the opener.....here we go!
I predict 91 wins and a division title.
What do you think?
Pick a number of wins and your predicted playoff spot (division title, wildcard or nothing)
In the interest of fairness, my prediction will not be part of the contest.
Closest one to the right amount of wins will get a prize at season's end.
Entries must be in before Friday's home opener.
Ties will be broken by:
1. who has the proper playoff prediction
2. if still tied, there will be a coin flip or drawing
Good Luck!

I've been watching the hoopla surrounding opening day, today. Tribe PR honcho, Tony DiBiassio (Lakewood's own) has been touting the brand new menu--- Slider hamburgers, hand cut french fries with 5 different sauces.
I'm afraid if that's this year's draw then I'm going to have to pick 63 wins.

lets see... 31-36, 13 games out of first place... 2nd last in the central, just got swept by the milwaukee brewers.. im hoping we can get 32 wins this season, thats all.
it'll be interesting when I work down at the jake this weekend against the reds.. average attendance will probably be around 12-15000.

15,000? You're not so lucky, young man......you're about to find out just how many former Cincinnatians live in northern Ohio. And I-71 will be jammed with Reds fans making the visit.
Remember the Browns/Steelers game with all the Terrible Towels waving? It will be sort of like that, except with Red instead of black and gold.
The Yankees series will also draw large crowds for the visiting team.
However, lots of good seats will be availalbe for the season closer on Sunday, October 1 vs. Tampa Bay.
As an official Indians employee, you better watch your sarcasm. Much like the folks at WTAM, you are supposed to tell us that "it's still early in the season" and "they came back from 15 down last year".

i check tickets, i don't sell them
but it is early in the season, and the tribe wasn't too different (record wise) last year at this point in the season.
but last year we had pitching that could stop the other team from scoring a run, this year we have no problems scoring runs we just can't stop the other team from scoring more.

DL
I am still trying to figure out this part.
Mike do you have skills some of us are not aware of?

My computer is broken, so I have been lax in my posting lately.
DL is our big winner! Thanks to their late-season surge, DL beats out Stan's apocolyptic prediction.
I will see OB tonight.....then I will find out your prize.
BTW, any advice on where to get a computer fixed? It looks like the power source is broken.

Mike-
Let's save the prize for a different contest!
Sorry about your computer... hope it isn't the new one...
